About:
Councillor Tafadzwa (Taffy) Chikoto is an entrepreneur who has lived in Corby for over 15 years. He was Corby Town Council’s second Mayor from May 2022 – May 2023. He has worked within the local community health and social care sector and has established a good rapport with other professionals, young people, their parents, and guardians.
Taffy comes from a Christian background and has a passion for empowering youth from underprivileged back grounds. He has established ties with the faith & business community, neighbours, teachers, and parents from the primary and secondary schools attended by his two children.
As a resident of Corby, Taffy has exposure and insight into the socio-economic needs of our community that require ongoing improvement and development for the benefit of all.
