About:
Clare Pavitt has proudly lived in Corby for 30 years and over that time has been an active member of the community. Clare has worked in the public sector for 25 years, first in local government (Corby Borough Council) and more recently in Education. Alongside working in the public sector Clare has also volunteered in many community roles over the years the majority of which have been centered around children and young people. Providing opportunities as well as a safe and secure future for our children and young people is Clare’s passion.
Community and community spirit are also really important to Clare. A sense of belonging and pride in our town are fundamental to community cohesion and ensuring everyone has a town they enjoy living, working and playing in.
Clare has been a member of the Labour Party since 2004 and was elected in the Kingswood by-election of February 2024.
